This homemade scouring powder is a staple in my cleaning routine. It’s like Ajax and Comet, but unlike those toxic, store-bought cleaning powders, this homemade version is natural and safe to use all over your home.
It’s so versatile that it works for all kinds of surfaces from sinks to tubs and showers to counters and even toilets. It deep cleans to restores shine to stainless steel, porcelain, laminate, and other surfaces.
Here’s why I love it for all kinds of cleaning projects:
- It’s a mild abrasive that smooths marks and scratches.
- It gets my sinks, tubs, and even shower floors absolutely sparkling clean. Seriously, my bathroom and kitchen are shiny clean after I use this magical stuff.
- But perhaps the best part is how this scouring powder smells! It’s made with lemon essential oil as well as dried lavender and lemon, which smells divine.
- And it doesn’t just cover up the stink; it actually deodorizes and neutralizes odors.
Love it!
