15 Favorite Essential Oil Blends for Diffuser Bracelets {free printable}

I love diffusing essential oils!

But it’s not always possible to diffuse.

When I can’t use a diffuser, I turn to one of the many other ways to get the aromatic benefits of essential oils, such as using roller bottle blends or diffuser jewelry.

What is an essential oil diffuser bracelet?

A diffuser bracelet is simply a bracelet that is made with porous materials that can absorb and release essential oils.  This could be leather, felt, wool, cotton, lava rocks, terracotta, air dry clay, or other natural materials.

How to use a diffuser bracelet

Apply a few drops of essential oil to the soft underside of the bracelet.  Essential oils will typically last for 2-3 days before needing to be reapplied.  To change EO blends simply wait for a few days for the scent of the first EO blend to wear off and then apply a different EO blend.

The aroma for the essential oils will slowly diffuse into the air around you.  If at some point you want more immediate results, you can bring the bracelet closer to your nose and inhale deeply.

a diffuser bracelet is a great way to always have your favorite essential oils with you. But what essential oils do you put onto your bracelet? Here are 15+ bracelet diffuser recipes for repelling bugs, energy, focus, calming, uplifting, and comfort.

Here are a few favorite recipes for essential oil diffuser bracelets

These recipes use 4-5 drops.  While you can use 4-5 drops on a diffuser bracelet.  I usually only use 2-3 drops and I find that that is plenty.

So you can do three things:

  1. use the recipes as they are
  2. cut the recipes in half (so instead of 2 drops use 1; instead of 1 drop use as close as you can to a half drop)
  3. do what I do and make up batches of EO blends– it’s a great way to reuse that empty essential oil bottles

to an empty EO bottle add 10 times the amount of each essential oil (so if recipe calls for 1 drop, add 10 drops; if recipe calls for 2 drops, add 20 drops)

shake bottle well to combine

then add 2-3 drops of your custom blend to diffuser bracelet

If you reapply every 2-3 days, your bottle should last for about 6-8 weeks.
