Coconut Salt Scrub

Salt scrubs are wonderful for exfoliating and revealing fresher-looking skin.

They leave skin soft, smooth and well moisturized!

But the ones in stores can cost a small fortune, and worse than that, they can be filled with artificial fragrances, synthetics, and other fillers.

No need to buy those manufactured ones when it is so easy to make your own.

It literally takes only 3 ingredients and about 1 minute to make your own homemade, high quality coconut salt scrub with essential oils.

Couldn’t really be any simpler!

What’s in Coconut Salt Scrub?

1- Coarse Sea Salt

These large salt crystals are gentle on your skin, yet they still do an amazing job of exfoliating, smoothing skin, revealing younger-looking skin, and stimulating circulation.  Plus in addition to getting smooth, fresher-looking skin, sea salt is also great for your skin in ways that you can’t see–it’s full of vitamins and minerals that support healthy skin, and it’s a natural detoxifier, absorbing toxins from the surface of your skin.

2- Fractionated Coconut Oil

Fractionated coconut oil is feather light and absorbs easily into skin.  It’s a great, non-greasy moisturizer.  Also, it’s odorless so it blends well with any essential oil.  And it’s colorless, so there’s no risk of it staining your towel as you dry off.

3- Essential Oils

When you make your own homemade salt scrub, you can use essential oils to customize it however you want.

Depending on the essential oils that you choose to use,

The salt scrub can be energizing, uplifting, or calming.

Have a favorite scent?  You can use essential oils to make your salt scrub smell like a spring day, a minty mojito, or a gingerbread cookie.

You can choose to use essential oils that help reduce cellulite (grapefruit), soothe skin (lavender), or improve elasticity (myrrh).
