  1. Hi!
First off, thank you for all of these great recipes! So fun to make things ourselves. I have a question about subbing something for the sweet almond oil?? I have a child with a nut allergy and I’d rather not use nut oil. Do you think I could sub olive, argan or jojoba oil for the sweet almond? I’m not sure where those are in relation to the almond and moisturizing. Have you ever subbed a different oil? Thanks! Angela

    • Hi Angela,

Yes, many oils will work well in this. I’ve used olive oil, apricot kernel oil, argan oil, fractionated coconut oil, and probably others that I’m forgetting.

You can also make this without the oil, and it will still be a good hand soap, just without the extra moisturizing boost.

      Hope that helps,
      Sarah

    • Yes, many oils work. Olive oil works well, so does avocado oil, apricot kernel oil, rosehip seed oil, and argan oil.

  2. I just love your recipes! Could you please format this recipe so that I can print it out?
I can’t wait to make these!

    • Hi Jennifer,

I try to go back to older recipes and add printables as I have time. I’m not sure how long it will be before I can get to this one, but it would definitely be easier to use with a printable, so hopefully, I get to it soon.

      Sarah
