Would like to know about ordering the Spa Vapor Flow. Please let me know and thank you for all the info

    • Sarah Lewis January 21, 2016 at 7:32 am - Reply

Hi, Pat. I’m not aware of a Spa Vapor diffuser. By any chance, are you interested in the Spa Vapor Pro diffuser? (Autocorrect changes my words all the time, and I wondered if that might have happened in your note?) If so, here’s a link to the Spa Vapor Pro diffuser. – Sarah http://amzn.to/1S6X9kg

I’m looking for a diffuser that does not use water with essential oils. I would also entertain just the glass replacement as I have the base. Thanks so much in advance.

      Hi, Kristie.

Here’s a link to my favorite essential oil diffuser that does not use water. http://amzn.to/1VtsBJ3

And below are some of the reasons why I like this one so much. I’m copying here from a Facebook post I did a couple weeks ago on this same topic (hope you don’t mind). – Sarah

      “Diffusers for Large, Open Floorplan

Many of us have open floorplans, so I’m frequently asked about a diffuser that covers a large area. The best diffusers that I have used to cover a large, open space are nebulizing diffusers like this http://amzn.to/1PPrbVD

From my experience, this diffuser easily covers 1,500+ square feet of open living space on my main floor. I particularly like the Raindrop diffuser (pictured below) because (1) the essential oils only touch glass (the oils never come into contact with plastic) and (2) you add drops of essential oils to the diffuser just like you do with the ultrasonic diffusers we’re all familiar with; that means I can easily make all the diffuser blends that I love.

For the Raindrop diffuser I add a few drops of essential oil and run it for 20-30 minutes and the scents (and essential oil therapeutic benefits) seem to stay in the air all day. That’s because they break the oil down into such small micro particles and don’t use water, so the essential oil can stay suspended in the air for much longer than when using ultrasonic diffusers.

Nebulizing diffusers aren’t right for everyone, but in my opinion, they are fantastic at covering large spaces.”

Instead of those beads you can also use terracota clay

I was at Michael’s yesterday, August 15, 2016, and the had lava beads in strings in their jewelry making section. You can drop right on the lava bead and it absorbs the oil. I’ve seen bracelets and necklaces with one to a few beads on them.

How long is this sale on for?

    • Sarah Lewis April 11, 2016 at 8:49 pm - Reply

      Hi, Phyllis.
I wish I knew. Unfortunately, there’s no set time for these sales.
Sometimes deals stay that same price for weeks before the seller raises the price or it sells out, but other times the items sell out (or the seller raises the price) within just a few hours of when I found the deal.
Sorry, I wish I could be more helpful.
      Sarah

It’s now August 16 and the sales are still good!

  6. Cndy April 18, 2016 at 4:57 pm - Reply

Prices are not the same as advertised from the link (and I opened the same day I saw it). Still some good deals though on most items even though they are $1 to $5 higher.

    • Sarah Lewis April 18, 2016 at 5:43 pm - Reply

      Hi, Cindy.
Prices can change quickly (both up and down), and unfortunately, I have no way of knowing when (or if) that’s going to happen. I try to check the prices on all the deals once a day and update them, deleting items that are no longer good deals and adding others that are new finds. Please let me know whenever you see something that doesn’t match the price I have listed in the blog post and I’ll update it so everyone’s got the most current information.

Tried ordering the dryer balls buy 2 get 1 free and Amazon is saying that deal is not found?? Is it over?

    • Sarah Lewis April 29, 2016 at 7:09 am - Reply

Hi, Judy. Deal is still going on. It’s a little confusing on how to get the deal. Here’s what to do: (1) put THREE sets of the dryer balls in your Amazon cart, (2) click “proceed to checkout”, (3) enter code W9ADB6IJ into the promo code box and hit “apply”. That will take $14.99 off of your order, giving you the 3rd set for free. Please let me know if this doesn’t work for you. – Sarah

I tried to get the dryer balls to work, added 3 sets to my cart and used promo, but it is saying the total due is $2798. Any thoughts on how to get the 3rd set free?

    • Sarah Lewis July 2, 2016 at 10:09 pm - Reply

Hi. It sounds like the deal is working right for you (and I verified that it’s still working). The first set is $13.99 plus the second set at $13.99 plus the third set is free ($0) results in a total of $27.96 plus any applicable sales tax. So you get three sets (18 dryer balls) for only $27.96. – Sarah

I’m going to make my wife bath bombs but I’m not sure if the essential oils for the defuses are safe for a bath bomb please help???

    • Sarah Lewis November 21, 2016 at 9:12 pm - Reply

      Hi Justin.
      What a fabulous gift!
There are some essential oils that are used in a diffuser that you wouldn’t want to use in a bath bomb (oregano is one that comes to mind. It is what’s known as a hot oil, and even when it is pretty highly diluted, it can cause a burning sensation when it touches skin, especially sensitive skin in a bath.
Here’s a link to my favorite bath bomb recipe and lots of essential oil blends that are generally safe to use in bath bombs. http://oneessentialcommunity.com/sea-breeze-bath-bombs-made-lavender-spearmint-lime-essential-oils/That said, it’s always best to let people know what you put into the homemade gifts you made for them. That way if your wife would happen to be sensitive to a particular essential oil, she would know to not use the bath bomb. Also if she’s pregnant, she’ll want to be especially careful using essential oils. Here’s a great source you/she can check on which essential oils are safe to use during pregnancy. http://www.learningabouteos.com/index.php/2013/08/06/essential-oil-safety-during-pregnancy/
